Kemba Walker has been through a lot during his NBA. He has not been the same ever since his stint with the Charlotte Hornets ended. The UConn basketball legend hoped to reclaim his former All-Star glory but it was just not meant to be. Kemba is making a career revival as he enters a new chapter with the Euroleague's AS Monaco. Los Angeles Clippers player Nicolas Batum even supported his former Charlotte Hornets teammate.

Both players have had illustrious careers and are continuing their professional basketball journey. Although, Kemba Walker is set to play in the Euroleague while Nicolas Batum stays with the Clippers in the NBA.

A lot of fans thought that this was a downgrade and created a narrative around it. Batum posits otherwise and argues that Kemba is better off overseas than in any other league. He even outlined how great of an opportunity it was for his former Hornets teammate in a Twitter post.

“It’s not given to every good player to move to the 3rd best team in Euroleague and live in South of France. Knowing the level of competition in the Euroleague, it’s a pretty good move after what Kemba went through the last couple of months,” Batum said in response to a post by NBA Memes.

Not a lot of stars get the respect that they deserve after exploring opportunities outside of the NBA. Walker's decision to go for AS Monaco might suit him well and eventually rile him back up to the league. One thing is for sure and that is Nicolas Batum and a lot of fans have Cardiac Kemba's back.
