The Indianapolis Colts are the latest team that has been forced to shut down their team facility following a COVID-19 outbreak within the organization. With an undisclosed number of individuals testing positive for the coronavirus, the team has no other option but to follow league protocols and close down their practice facility immediately.

A number of teams have been dealing with positive COVID-19 tests throughout the NFL. The Tennessee Titans have had the largest outbreak, but other positives across the league have forced major changes to the schedule. Most recently prior to this Colts news, the Atlanta Falcons had to shut their facility down on Thursday due to a positive test.
Indianapolis did not reveal the identities of the individuals who tested positive, but the decision to shut down the practice facility points to the fact that there are more than a few members of the organization who have been afflicted by the virus.
It remains unclear at this point if the Colts' game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday will push through. A second round of tests will take place, and the results of these should determine whether or not the team will be allowed to take the field on Sunday for their Week 6 matchup.
Indianapolis saw its three-game winning streak snapped last week in a 32-23 loss to the red-hot Cleveland Browns. The Colts currently stand at 3-2 to start the season with new quarterback Philip Rivers at the helm.
