The Dallas Cowboys score the second-most points in the league. Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper have led America's Team to the top of the NFC East. Dallas' talent is the reason why they're 9-4 but it is also the reason why they almost gave their fans heart attacks in their victory over the Washington Football Team this afternoon.

With just a few minutes remaining in the game, Prescott threw a pick-6 to Cole Holcomb, allowing Washington to pull within a score. The Cowboys punted on their next drive but they forced fumble and held on for the win.

Prescott explained that he understands and the expectations his unit has but explained that there is no reason for concern.

Head coach Mike McCarthy shook off the Cowboys' struggles, too.

Whether Dallas wants to admit it or not, the offense has not been as productive in recent weeks. In the six weeks before their bye week, they averaged 34.2 points per game and won five of those six games. Since their bye, they have averaged just 25 points per game over seven contests. They are 4-3 in those games.

The Cowboys' struggles on offense, though, are nothing to be seriously worried about. Although their record since their bye week isn't very inspiring,  averaging 25 points per game is still a decent average. Over the course of a season, it would rank 15th in the league.

Dallas has the remainder of their season to maintain their lead in the NFC East and fix their problems so that they don't show up in the playoffs.
