Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is dealing with a knee injury, raising fears that he could be sidelined in their Week 10 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons.

However, Elliott eased those concerns on Wednesday when he revealed that he is recovering well and doing better.

The Cowboys RB also shared how he sustained the injury, noting that it was the result of a bad fall during their Week 9 contest with the Denver Broncos.

“My knee feels pretty good. I probably did more today than what I’ve been doing in the past. … I just kind of took a bad fall on it during the game and it was sore, but it’s more something I just have to keep moving around, keep warm,” Elliott told Jon Machota of The Athletic.

To recall, Ezekiel Elliott exited their game against the Broncos and had to be benched multiple times due to the nagging right knee injury. He was able to return to the contest and finished with 51 yards on 10 carries.

It was later revealed that he had a knee contusion, which is not a serious injury but could still be concerning for a running back known for his explosiveness. It's the reason why there are fears he could not be at his best self come Sunday.

By the looks of it, though, Elliott seems confident that he'll be more than ready to suit up against the Falcons. The Cowboys certainly need him to be after their 30-16 blowout loss to the Broncos the last time out.
