Dez Bryant is seeking to make a return to the NFL in 2020 and he hinted at possibly joining the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday. According to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Bryant finished his workout with Baltimore, but nothing is “imminent.”

Since the latter portion of the 2019 season, Bryant has been itching to make a comeback to the NFL. While Bryant has expressed his desire to reunite with the Dallas Cowboys, the veteran wideout joined the Ravens for a workout on Thursday.

Heading into the 2020 season, Baltimore features a receiving corps that includes Marquise Brown, Willie Snead, Miles Boykin, and Chris Moore. Meanwhile, rookies Devin Duvernay and James Proche figure to have chances to see chances to contribute in the passing game.

Given the lack of production at wide receiver, the Ravens could be looking to add an experienced wideout before the upcoming season. As a result, Baltimore could consider signing Bryant to give them another viable option for Lamar Jackson. After the news of Bryant working out with the team broke, Jackson seemed fond of the idea of adding Bryant.

Bryant hasn't played in an NFL game since 2017 when he was with the Dallas Cowboys. In his final season in Dallas, Bryant hauled in 69 receptions for 838 yards and six touchdowns. He would proceed to sign with the New Orleans Saints in 2018, but he failed to log a single snap with them after suffering a season-ending Achilles injury in his first practice.

Even though the Ravens run a run-oriented offense, they could still use some firepower at wide receiver. Though, with Bryant leaving without a contract, Baltimore may look elsewhere on the open market.
