Los Angeles Dodgers star Mookie Betts went off in Game 1 of the 2020 World Series against the Tampa Bay Rays, so much so he got a shout-out from Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James.

Betts became the first player ever to homer, steal two bases and score two runs in a World Series showdown in Game 1 against the Rays.

LeBron James and the Lakers won the 2020 NBA title over the Miami Heat. It would be pretty neat if Mookie Betts and the Dodgers win the World Series as well.

How foolish do the Boston Red Sox look right now? They traded Betts to the Dodgers, who should be writing a thank you card to Boston.

Betts won the 2018 World Series with the Red Sox. Now, he's trying to win another one in his first season with the Dodgers. The former MVP is certainly missed by Boston fans, who still don't understand why the management did what they did.

James, who is rooting for the Dodgers to win the 2020 World Series since he's a Los Angeles resident, may have to share the L.A. spotlight with Betts soon if the Dodgers defeat the Rays and win the World Series. The King likely won't have an issue with that since he's a big fan of Mookie.
