The Los Angeles Dodgers are about to enter the playoffs, but they could be without first baseman Max Muncy after he suffered an arm injury against the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday.

The injury looked bad and Muncy was in a lot of pain:

This would be a tough blow for the Dodgers if Muncy is out right as the postseason begins. Muncy is a big bat in the middle of the lineup, as he has 36 home runs and 94 runs batted in. Los Angeles obviously has a loaded roster to help withstand an injury like this, but it would still be a shame if he's out for the entire playoffs or even just any of them.

The Dodgers entered play Sunday still alive in the NL West race, but it's currently looking like they're going to be a Wild Card team. The first-place San Francisco Giants are a game ahead of the Los Angeles and would win the division with a win, and they're currently taking care of business against the San Diego Padres.

However this plays out, the Dodgers will have a great chance to win the World Series, but winning 105-plus games and not winning the division is tough and makes that road harder. Not having Muncy would make it even more difficult.
