The list of free agent pass rushers has been cut down by one with the Philadelphia Eagles re-signing Brandon Graham to an extension. The extension is a three-year deal worth up to $40 million.

Eagles fans can stop panicking on their pass rush situation with Graham staying put. Graham also had another message for Eagles fans after putting pen to paper.

“We built something here and I want to finish it out.”

Philadelphia's pass rusher has already won one ring with the franchise but obviously sees a bright future ahead.

After the season ended, Graham said he would test free agency. Graham did say he would at least see what the Eagles were offering—which ended up being enough to keep the talented sack artist.

Philadelphia is limited with how much money they can spend this offseason—possessing around $1-2 million in cap space. Keeping Graham won't be a huge hit to the cap just yet since it came in the form of an extension.

In 2018, the Eagles saw Carson Wentz fall to injury once again. They called for Nick Foles to deliver in the clutch like he once did in the 2017 season—securing the Eagles' first Super Bowl victory.

Foles was unable to repeat his success from 2017, falling short to the New Orleans Saints in the Divisional Round.

It was still a great season for the Eagles—despite Wentz suffering another injury. Doug Pederson has the team moving in the right direction, but this offseason is a very important one for the franchise.

Signing Graham was the first step for the Eagles to maintain their recent success. Now let us see if Philadelphia can build upon this move with other positive decisions.
