Fourth-year quarterback Carson Wentz fired a goal line touchdown into the end zone for tight end Dallas Goedert to corral prior to halftime in the Philadelphia Eagles' Week 8 matchup with the Buffalo Bills (via NFL).

Goedert, a 24-year-old former second-round pick from the 2018 draft out of South Dakota State, scored Philadelphia's first touchdown of the day on a five-yard reception from Wentz. A risky two-point conversion by Doug Pederson's team in the final minute of the first half was successful, with Miles Sanders rushing into the end zone to extend the Eagles' early lead.

The 3-4 Eagles have not exactly lived up to expectations during the 2019 NFL season, but they have a chance to upset the 5-1 Bills on the road and seek a chance to win the NFC East division.

Goedert's late first-half touchdown was his third of the season for the young tight end.
