Did you know Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan has a tattoo on his body that he's always been a bit sensitive about?

In 2009 when Jordan was inducted into the Hall of Fame, legendary Bulls writer Sam Smith revealed the shocking revelation that MJ has one tattoo on his left breast:

“Little known is he has a tattoo, an omega horseshoe above his left breast that he always was a bit sensitive about.”

Some years ago, Jordan appeared on the cover of Bob Greene’s Rebound: The Odyssey of Michael Jordan and the photo of a young Jordan shows a tattoo on the left side of his chest.

The tattoo, an omega horseshoe, was drawn on as a way of pledging Jordan's commitment to the black fraternity, Omega Psi Phi, which he was a part of while he attended the University of North Carolina for college.

NBA players like LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Allen Iverson, Derrick Rose, JR Smith and Anthony Davis — just to name a few — have a bevy of tattoos on their bodies. Jordan, however, was a little different and didn't want to have ink draped all over his skin.

As we all know, Jordan is the greatest player in NBA history. “His Airness” finished his legendary pro career with averages of 30.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 1,072 regular-season games with the Bulls and Washington Wizards.

During his run with the Bulls, Jordan put up 31.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 2.5 steals in 930 regular-season contests. He won six NBA championships, six Finals MVPs, five regular-season MVPs, one Defensive Player of the Year Award and the 1985 Rookie of the Year Award.

Jordan and the Bulls went a perfect 6-0 in the Finals during the 1990s. Chicago defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trail Blazers, Phoenix Suns, Seattle SuperSonics and Utah Jazz (twice) for their six rings. What's even more impressive is that Jordan and the Bulls never needed a seventh game to win their six rings.

The Bulls built a statue of Jordan outside of the United Center in 1994. Jordan is Chicago's all-time leader in games played, field goals, free-throws, rebounds, assists, steals, points, points per game, player efficiency rating and win-shares.
