Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 is definitely maintaining the game’s hype with its brand new map, weapons, and features. Fortnite Tornados are now looking like the next new thing coming up in this season.

Honestly, Epic Games has not confirmed whether or not this brand new feature will be coming to Fortnite. However, according to Fortnite leaker Mang0e, there is already some evidence that tornados are coming to Fortnite. As mentioned in the tweet, one tornado will launch at first then a variety of other tornados will come in later updates.  These tornados will typically take about 25 seconds to form then will have approximately an eight-minute duration. Without a doubt, the disastrous natural phenomena will change the landscape of the battle royale island. All objects and structures affected by the tornados will fly into the whirlwind alongside the players who get hit by it. Players better brace themselves for a brand new way to battle under these circumstances.

Thanks to a video posted by EveryDay FN on YouTube, we have an idea of what tornados will be like. As seen in the video, the tornado can serve as a mini jump pad. Players can use this to either escape or push their enemies. Obviously, this isn’t the final version of the tornado yet. This means that we are yet to find out whether or not the tornado will deal damage to players.

Seems like Epic Games isn’t running out of creative juices just yet. First, they flip the entire island, then introduced new weapons, then added the long-awaited sliding feature. Now, Fortnite tornados are coming as well. Talk about keeping things fresh.
