Ja Morant showed in his time at Murray State that he can dunk on anyone. The No. 2 pick of the 2019 NBA Draft reportedly has a 44-inch vertical and he put all of it on display in the Memphis Grizzlies' Wednesday matchup against the Phoenix Suns. With a four-point lead with less than a minute remaining in the fourth quarter, Morant was presented with a mismatch on the perimeter against Suns center Aron Baynes. With the obvious speed advantage, Morant was able to drive left and posterize the 6-foot-10 Australian big man.

Morant's dunk would put the game out of reach for Phoenix and Memphis would go on to win 115-108 to improve to 8-16 on the season. The Grizzlies' star rookie ended the game with 13 points, suic assists and four rebounds shooting 4-9 from the field.

On the season, Morant has been impressive. The 6-foot-3 point guard leads all NBA rookies with 19.1 points and 6.4 assists per game while also adding 3.1 rebounds on excellent shooting efficiency.

Baynes has been notorious for jumping with the best dunkers in the NBA, unafraid of being put on a poster. In his first season with the Suns, the eight-year pro is averaging career highs nearly across the board with 14.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists.

Despite missing multiple games this year with injury, Baynes has been one of the biggest breakout players early in this NBA season and as a result, the Suns as a team are exceeding expectations. Despite being just 11-12, the Suns currently hold the eighth spot in the Western Conference.
