The Miami Heat suffered a huge blow on Friday after they lost Kyle Lowry to a concerning hamstring injury. The momentum is now on the side of the Atlanta Hawks after they secured a thrilling 111-110 victory in Game 3 to set the series at 2-1.

The Heat will need their starting point guard back as soon as possible and it sounds like this is going to be the case for them. According to Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald, those within Lowry's circle believe that there isn't much cause for concern with regard to this hamstring injury:

There is cautious optimism from those around Lowry that the hamstring injury is not serious.

This is great news for Miami and this bodes well for Lowry's chances to suit up for Game 4 on Sunday. It was also reported earlier that the six-time All-Star has been working extremely hard to get his hamstring right and that he has every intention to suit up for the pivotal Game 4 matchup.

It is worth noting, however, that at 36, Lowry is no spring chicken. The Heat will likely hold him back if they deem that the risk is too great.
