Golden State Warriors superstar point guard Stephen Curry is one of the most electrifying players in the league. His combination of lightning-quick handles and craftiness around the basket compliment his status as the greatest shooter in league history.

Needless to say, Curry is a matchup nightmare for even the fiercest defenders. However, Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo managed to crack the code for at least one possession during the second quarter of their showdown with the Warriors.

What is even more impressive is that the Warriors were deliberately looking to exploit the mismatch between Curry and Adebayo. However, the Heat center managed to shut down the two-time MVP's dribbling sequence with his quick feet not once, not twice, but three times on the same possession before forcing him to kick it out to a teammate.

NBA fans have seen Stephen Curry embarrassingly break down premier defenders like superstars Chris Paul and LeBron James from nearly the same position on the court. However, it seems the rookie made sure to bone up on the Warriors' game film prior to their matchup.

The 17th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft has stepped up in the absence of center Hassan Whiteside, who is currently nursing bone spurs in his left knee. With Whiteside likely out for the next two weeks, Adebayo will undoubtedly take on a larger role for the time being.
