Horizon Forbidden West finally gets a release date after delays. Horizon Forbidden West is the Horizon Zero Dawn sequel, and we finally got an exact release date at Gamescom 2021. Now, we're just a couple of days away from the game's release. Here is when you can back into this amazing world and adventure as Aloy fighting big mechanical beasts in Horzion Forbidden West.
Horizon Forbidden West Release Date: February 18, 2022
After being rumored to be delayed for weeks, Guerilla Games finally announced when the final Horizon Forbidden West is coming out: February 18, 2022. The game will come out simultaneously on both PS4 and PS5. Sadly, we didn't get any new trailers out of Gamescom 2021. But they didn't leave fans with nothing to come home with.
To bridge the gap between now and the game's release, Guerilla Games announced that they are releasing a free update for Horizon Zero Dawn to enhance it on next-gen consoles. It will bring 60fps to the PS5 version of the game. It's free, so don't worry. Just boot up your console, download the update, and voila, you've unlocked 60fps for Horizon Zero Dawn. Horizon Forbidden West will no doubt launch with this capability unlocked right from the get-go, so that's another thing we could look forward to.
