The Miami Hurricanes made a splash on Monday, as the program is seemingly doing everything they can to get back into title contention. The football program has been irrelevant for quite some time, and Miami looks to shake things up in the college football world. The school is bringing in Clemson Tigers former athletic director Dan Radakovich and is reportedly signing the Oregon Ducks head coach Mario Cristobal.

According to Mike Ryan, Dan Radakovich is officially becoming the new AD for the Hurricanes. This is massive news considering Radakovich was a part of Clemson's recent success in college football. The Hurricanes hope to capture similar success.

Furthermore, it's essentially a done deal that Mario Cristobal will become the next head coach of the Hurricanes, as he's already told the Oregon players he's leaving, per John Canzano. Cristobal has been a solid head coach during his tenure with the Ducks and brings a ton of experience to Miami.

The Hurricanes are not messing around, as they're throwing a ton of money to get back into business. Chris Vannini breaks down exactly how much money Miami is spending on their coaching change alone.

That equates to $25 million on Miami's coaching change. Considering how successful Cristobal has been in Oregon (despite never winning a National Championship) the Hurricanes are seemingly all-in. We've officially entered a new era, as The U is doing what's necessary to make a major comeback.

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. Mario Cristobal will need time to recruit and it'll take a few years before his system takes over the Hurricanes football program. Even so, Miami could become a contender sooner, rather than later.
