The Jacksonville Jaguars shocked the world after defeating the Buffalo Bills in their Week 9 matchup. This wasn't supposed to happen, as Jacksonville was under-manned for this game. Even so, Trevor Lawrence exited the game briefly after falling to an ankle injury.

According to Ashlyn Sullivan, Trevor Lawrence received an X-ray that confirmed he has sustained a “low ankle sprain.” This is great news, as this isn't a serious injury by any means. Lawrence proved that by quickly returning to the game and helping lead the Jaguars with a win over the Bills.

Head coach Urban Meyer was asked about the situation on the field, where he provided a funny response.

“He was ready to fight me when I wouldn't let him back in the game right aways.” – Coach Meyer.

That right there shows Trevor Lawrence's tenacity and competitiveness. The rookie quarterback understood what was at stake. It's been a rough go for the Jaguars so far and Lawrence was not about to miss an opportunity to upset the Buffalo Bills at home.

Jaguars fans should feel extracted, even with Lawrence nursing a minor injury. This kid has all of the potential in the world and gives Jacksonville something to hope for in the future. There will be partying in Jacksonville after this win over Buffalo, as this is likely the team's equivalent of winning the Super Bowl this year.

Hopefully, Urban Meyer keeps the cameras away, but at least this time he deserves to party with his team. Keep an eye on Trevor Lawrence leading up to Week 10, as the Jaguars will closely monitor their rookie prospect.
