Joe Rogan recently started only doing UFC pay-per-views but recently he’s been slowing down on those too. He missed UFC 265 and now he’s set to miss UFC 266 also.

Former UFC lightweight contender Paul Felder will be stepping in to fill his role. Felder has been a tremendous addition to the commentary team since he’s made the transition from DWCS.

He has a hunting trip planned! He missed UFC 265 due to his comedy tour.

Joe Rogan has noted on his podcast before that his role as a commentator has taken a toll on him physically. Going to places like Australia has been very tough for him.

The broadcast will see Jon Anik on the Analyst Desk and he is set to be joined by Chael Sonnen and Gilbert Melendez. UFC 266 will still have fan-favorite Megan Olivi and longtime announcer Bruce Buffer.

The current commentators for UFC 266 have Jon Anik, Daniel Cormier, and the new addition Paul Felder. The team is a solid one as all three are highly regarded by fans.

Joe Rogan or not, UFC 266 is a stacked card that’s set to have Alex Volkanovski vs Brian Ortega, Valentina Shevchenko vs Lauren Murphy, and Nick Diaz return vs Robbie Lawler. It all goes down on September 25.
