Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard Jordan Clarkson had a busy summer. He not only played in the 2018 Asian Games for the Philippines, but also spent a lot of time at the tattoo parlor apparently.

At Cavs media day on Monday, Clarkson showed off a bevy of new tattoos which he got in the offseason. It looks like Clarkson channelled his inner J.R. Smith and decided to go all out with the body ink.

The Cavs acquired Jordan Clarkson at the 2018 February trade deadline from the Los Angeles Lakers. In 28 regular season games with Cleveland, Clarkson averaged 12.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game, shooting 45.6 percent from the field, 40.7 percent from beyond the arc, and 81.0 percent from the free-throw line.

Clarkson struggled in the playoffs, though. The 26-year-old only posted 4.7 points in 19 games in the 2018 postseason and shot just 30.1 percent overall and 23.9 percent from 3-point land. It was the first time in his career that Clarkson made it to the playoffs and the Tampa native clearly wasn't ready for the big stage.

It's a new season, however, and Clarkson will be asked to provide a lot of scoring for the Cavs this season now that LeBron James is no longer on the team. There aren't any big expectations in Cleveland this year, so maybe Clarkson will play with less pressure and be able to recapture his form. When he's playing with confidence and not second guessing himself on the court, Clarkson can score in bunches and be an effective sixth man.
