Ken Griffey Jr. made it clear that he will be in attendance if LeBron and Bronny James are to ever team up in the NBA, via Sporting News.

When that happens, I'm gonna be there and I'm gonna take my dad to the game. LeBron being a Nike guy, I'm a Nike guy, I'm going to make sure I'm there at that game. I think it's important that we're all there in celebrating somebody else's success. In sports, you don't celebrate you, you celebrate other people.

Griffey Jr. took the MLB by storm in the 1990s through his beautiful swing and swagger off the field. LeBron James has long been an admirer of Griffey Jr.'s, coming in over 10 years after the MLB star. With that being said, the two did cross paths and as Griffey Jr. mentioned, are both Nike athletes.

As for Griffey Jr.'s father that he mentioned in the video, he held his own before the youngster's time. Griffey Sr. played 19 years in the MLB, as he accumulated three All-Star Game appearances in the process. Together, they form one of the greatest father-son duos in not only baseball, but sports history.

James has made it clear over the last few months that he wants to team up with his son, Bronny, in a few years. Bronny is in the class of 2023, meaning he'd become eligible for the 2024 NBA Draft.

Now hear me out, the NBA expands to 32 teams, including Seattle, and James duo ends up there in Seattle. Of course where Griffey Jr. made the most of his magic happen, particularly as he went through his young days in the majors.

It's cool to see the older generation supporting the younger generation, as well as baseball and basketball crossing paths. See you there in a few years, Ken.
