The game between the Sacramento Kings and San Antonio Spurs on Sunday can be considered a David and Goliath matchup, especially with the difference in the success the two franchises have had over the past few years.

As expected, the home team won in convincing fashion, 113-98, and added to the current woes of the Kings, who now own the worst record in the Western Conference.

Their social media team made sure they had a unique representation of how it’s like to go up against the Spurs, who have been the epitome of success in the NBA over the last two decades. They posted a self-trolling tweet which highlights how they just can’t find a way to beat the Western Conference's traditional powerhouse.

Led by Bryn Forbes’ 23 points, three rebounds, and two assists, the Spurs used a balanced scoring attack to come out with the blowout victory. Six other players scored at least eight points, which goes to show how dominant they were on the night. The Kings had no answer for their opponents as their bench players continued the good play their starters had begun.

Sacramento’s bright spot came from their prized rookie, De’Aaron Fox, who led the way for them and recorded 26 points. Vince Carter also scored 21 points of his own as he turned back the clock with his solid effort. The Kings have lost nine of their last 11 outings and will look to win on Tuesday against the New Orleans Pelicans, who will not have DeMarcus Cousins anymore for the remainder of the season.
