It's been 15 years since the Sacramento Kings and the Los Angeles Lakers faced off in their wild seven-game Western Conference Finals series for the ages, but the bad blood between these two Pacific Division rivals is still very much present up until this day.

On Monday, the Kings shared a video on their official Twitter account asking Lakers fans attending a Summer League game in Vegas about their thoughts on their favorite team's rookies. The catch, however, is that the Kings mentioned the names “Shawn Carter” and “Ned Stark” instead of actual players.

Yes, Shawn Carter is indeed the birth name of rapper-slash-mogul JAY-Z, and Ned Stark is the character played by actor Sean Bean in the first season of HBO's hit drama series Game of Thrones.

Lakers fans get a pass for not knowing who Ned Stark is with the assumption that there aren't a lot of basketball fans who are also into high-fantasy TV shows with tons of politicking, gore, and nudity (although the latter two subjects should've aroused enough intrigue from a great portion of their male audience).

However, not knowing JAY-Z's real name is quite preposterous, especially with rap music and its personalities heavily ingrained into the NBA's own culture. Then again, these guys do have reasonable doubt to be oblivious of Hova's real name since Jay is a Brooklyn native and not from Compton, Inglewood, or any of the other breeding grounds for rap artists in Southern California.

But still, give a hand to these Lakeshow fans and their convictions that their team has a couple of promising rookies who make for a viable blueprint of success out in the West(eros).
