Superstars teaming up with one another has been a trend over the last several years in the NBA. It has triggered some fans to fantasize about their dream scenarios, too. A fan commented that Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving and Minnesota Timberwolves swingman Jimmy Butler would suit up for the New York Knicks in 2019.

As observed by Thomas Duffy of Cycle, Butler liked the aforementioned comment. Below is a screenshot:

Someone observed, however, that Butler liked almost every comment on that post. So we might as well cast our malicious fantasies to the side. Perhaps Butler didn't even read the comment in full and instinctively liked it? Or maybe he did read it and just wanted to have some fun?

Yet with all that's happening in the NBA right now, anything could happen. No one expected Kevin Durant — a top three player in the league — to transfer to a 73-win team. And more recently, no one expected DeMarcus Cousins — arguably the best center in the NBA — to take a massive pay cut and join the Golden State Warriors.

And in the coming days, who knows what LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are brewing up? Are they close to arranging a deal for Kawhi Leonard?

Fans and critics alike are free to their let thoughts fly based on rumors and players' social media activity. All these simply mean is that the NBA is getting more exciting each day.
