If it wasn't enough to leave Carmelo Anthony out to dry in front of the media at season's end, New York Knicks president Phil Jackson sent shockwaves through the NBA (and his front office) when it was reported that he wouldn't rule out star forward Kristaps Porzingis in trade talks.

Both Porzingis and Anthony reacted through social media after hearing the rampant rumors run amok through the NBA wire on “Shocker Tuesday.”

The situation in New York has gotten so dysfunctional over the lapse of all these years, that their players don't even express concern or the slightest willingness to remain with the team, but rather shake their head in disbelief and call it just another day.

Porzingis, who hasn't heard from the organization‘s front office or the coaching staff since skipping out on exit meetings with the Knicks' brawn, isn't remotely surprised — merely typing the “FR” (for real) — while Anthony went back to his now-signature Great Gatsby meme, saying “really” with a couple of cry-laughing faces.

Both of these Knicks aren't fazed by the rumors, knowing fully well Jackson will shake all the trees necessary to get his way.

Porzingis and Anthony aren't looking forward to getting over the hump, but rather to get out of it when the opportunity arises — now becoming two of Jackson's public enemies after their resistance to see eye-to-eye with his decisions.
