Following another disappointing season, the New York Knicks will hit the offseason with plenty of questions surrounding the team.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, it has become more intriguing with the possible availability of forward Kristaps Porzingis in the trade market.

This opens an entirely new bag of rumors around the Knicks involving Porzingis' future with the team. All of this chatter had begun after he decided to skip out on his exit interview with management and posted a tweet indicating his interest in joining the Los Angeles Clippers.

Since then, Porzingis has indicated that his Twitter account was hacked and his brother also stated that he has interest in staying with New York. There is clearly some level of disgruntlement from the 21-year-old with how things have unfolded over the last few months, especially with team president Phil Jackson stating on a couple of occasions that Carmelo Anthony should play elsewhere.

Through his first two seasons in the league, Porzingis has developed into a uniquely talented player that can impact the game on both ends of the floor. He also experienced a significant uptick in his production this past year averaging 18.1 points with 7.2 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks.

Porzingis is set to enter the third year of his deal that includes a $5.6 million club option for the 2018-19 season and a qualifying offer worth $7.5 million for the 2019-20 campaign.
