It was an eventful Wednesday night for the Los Angeles Lakers. Apart from seeing the return of Brandon Ingram from a lengthy absence because of a groin injury, the Lakers also defeated the visiting Dallas Mavericks, 103-93. The team ran through a bit of a misfortune in the third quarter of that game with Lonzo Ball suffering a knee injury, though it was nothing to cause any serious concern for the Lakers.

In fact, Kyle Kuzma went on to mock Ball in the locker room following the Mavs game with the two having their own “Damn, Daniel” moment.

There is no stopping Kyle Kuzma from making fun of Lonzo Ball – not even the fact that the Lakers are already out of playoff contention nor the report that Ball sustained a knee contusion in the Mavs game.

Against Dallas, Kuzma came off the bench and fired 18 points on 7-for-14 shooting from the field, while Ball almost had triple-double, posting eight points, five rebounds, and four assists in 24 minutes of floor duty.

This was not the first time that Kuzma had roasted his teammate because of the latter’s taste for shoes, and don’t expect that it’s going to be the last. Ball is not exactly a trendsetter when it comes to sneakers unless you consider anything that the Big Baller Brand produces as equivalent to a pair of Jordans. (Come on now.)

With the Lakers playing for nothing, Kuzma and Ball could even up elevate their social media roasting game just to keep themselves entertained as the season winds down to a close.
