The Los Angeles Lakers will have Anthony Davis on the floor for their Game 4 matchup against the Phoenix Suns Sunday afternoon. This is according to Lakers head coach Frank Vogel himself, as reported by Dave McMenamin of ESPN.

Davis reportedly suffered a hyperextended left knee (later diagnosed as a knee sprain) in Game 2 of the first-round playoffs series against the Suns, but was able to play through it in Game 3. Davis even led the Lakers with 34 points to go along with 11 rebounds, a steal, and a block across 40 minutes of floor duty in the 109-95 win at STAPLES Center last Thursday.

With Davis getting a green light to play in Game 4, the Lakers will have their best stopper for Phoenix big man Deandre Ayton out there. Although the Lakers haven't been doing an excellent job of putting the clamps on Ayton, they are in a much better position defensively to slow him down with Davis available to play. So far in the first round, Ayton is averaging 21.7 points on a ridiculous 82.1 field goal percentage.

As for Anthony Davis, he's leading the Lakers in the series with 27.0 points per game on 43.4 percent shooting from the floor while also grabbing 9.3 rebounds per contest.

Should the Lakers win Game 4, they can close out the series on Tuesday in Phoenix.
