Los Angeles Lakers guard Avery Bradley will return on Wednesday against the Orlando Magic after missing thirteen consecutive games with a hairline fracture in his right leg, per the LA Times' Brad Turner on Twitter.

According to Turner, the 29-year-old Bradley is on a 20 minutes restriction.

Bradley, a ten-year veteran guard, signed with the Lakers this past offseason after a short tenure with the Memphis Grizzlies during the 2018-19 NBA season. The former first-round pick from the 2010 draft previously spent stints with the Los Angeles Clippers and Detroit Pistons before becoming a free agent last summer and inking a two-year, $9.7 million deal with the purple and gold.

Bradley started at shooting guard for the Lakers in ten of their first eleven game during the 2019-20 season before going down with the hairline fracture. He averaged 9.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 27.4 minutes per game prior to the injury. It's uncertain whether Bradley will start in his return against the Magic this week, but it looks unlikely if he is being restricted to around 20 minutes.

Bradley started his career with the post-championship Boston Celtics at the beginning of the decade, arriving as a defensive backup wing out of Texas before future Hall of Fame shooting guard Ray Allen signed with the Miami Heat and Bradley later ingratiated himself in the starting lineup for Boston.

Bradley was traded from the Celtics to the Pistons before the 2017-18 season and since then he hasn't found a stable home for very long. However, his two-year deal with the Lakers could see the veteran guard potentially making an impact for LeBron James' team through 2021.
