Danny Green, now of the Los Angeles Lakers, spoke about the efforts of Kyle Kuzma and LeBron James in keeping him up to speed.

Speaking on the Inside The Green Room podcast, the two-time NBA champion spoke briefly about Kuzma's leadership as well as James' role in the whole process.

“Kuz has been taking a leadership role for a young guy. He put a little group chat together and made sure everyone knew who's number is who. Bron was really good with the process and keeping me patient.”

Green was one of the top free agent prospects this summer. Prior to signing with the Lakers, he revealed that he has spoken to several teams, including the Dallas Mavericks. Right after his former teammate Kawhi Leonard agreed to join the LA Clippers, he announced that he will be joining the Purple and Gold.

The 32-year-old Green will bring along with him a hefty resume headlined by two championship rings and an NBA All-Defensive Second Team selection. Given his outside touch, he'll perfectly co-exist with the ball-dominant James who needs ample spacing to operate. His experience will be of value for the a Los Angeles squad who'll settle for nothing less than a championship.
