The Los Angeles Lakers finally scored one on the win column after a testy first two games with their new-look roster. Perhaps the in-game incidents lit a fire in them to make sure they weren't losing another one.

The biggest of them was the sideline scuffle between Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard during their previous game against the Phoenix Suns. The two were seen getting heated by the Lakers bench as the team was getting blown out by their Western Conference rivals.

While both Davis and Howard have spoken up about the flare-up and have since reconciled, that hasn't stopped NBA Twitter from speculating on the internal strife within the Lakers roster. ESPN analyst and First Take host Stephen A. Smith sent out a strong message to Dwight Howard for getting on AD's bad side.

“You’re Dwight Howard. I like Dwight Howard. Look at me right now Dwight Howard. I would strongly advise you not to get on the nerves of Anthony Davis,” Stephen A said to the Lakers center. “You are lucky to be in this league. Now I think he should be, don’t get me wrong. I think he’s a major contributor when he’s focused.”

“But if you find yourself on the outside looking in and Anthony Davis got a problem with you, remember it wasn’t too long ago where Dwight Howard was wondering whether or not he’d have a job in the NBA. Landed with the Lakers, won a title, ended up going to Philly, they bring him back. You’re still making veteran minimum over two million dollars. This is Anthony Davis we talk about here. Do not mess that up.”

Tempers flared during the contest as the Lakers weren't playing at the level that everyone expected. While they can take amongst themselves and solve these issues internally, nothing heals all wounds in the NBA like winning basketball.

If the Lakers' latest victory over the Memphis Grizzlies sparks a spirited winning streak, the short-lived AD-Dwight feud will be a thing of the past.
