Los Angeles Lakers veteran Jared Dudley is in awe of LeBron James' wisdom, comparing him to an 80-year-old grandfather or grandmother who has grown wiser through the passage of time.

In an interview with Bill Oram of The Athletic, Dudley was asked who his favorite teammate to hang out with. For him, LeBron James is his favorite guy because of the stories and the wisdom he imparts.

“Bron. Because he has the best stories. LeBron has the best stories because he’s seen more of the world, he’s been with more people, he’s won championships. It would be like if you had an 80-year-old grandmother, or your grandfather with war stories in World War I or World War II. He has the best stories. His insight and knowledge and inside information is unlike anybody else I’ve ever been around. Him and Shaq.”

It's an interesting tidbit from Dudley. The 34-year-old was picked up by the Lakers over the summer to provide some veteran leadership. After all, Dudley's been in the league since 2007. His knowledge of the game, professionalism, among other things, are great assets to a team that's contending for a title.

Dudley's revelation about James' especially his inside information, would make fans drool. What exactly is the veteran forward referring to? Does James hold some top secret information about certain players and/or teams? Can he share it with us? Perhaps it's safe to say that diehard NBA fans would stop at nothing to be in Dudley's shoes, or at least share a conversation with James.
