It turned out that not only Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James but also his teammate in Kyle Kuzma expressed his disappointment on Twitter after fans immediately stormed the field in the aftermath of Notre Dame's 47-40 win against the No.1 ranked Clemson Tigers.

Kuzma was upset because his Lakers squad and the rest of the qualified teams needed to be in a bubble setup to play out the 2020 NBA Playoffs without the presence of fans; whereas the postgame proceedings were clearly in disregard of COVID-19 safety protocols as fans and players alike gathered in the field to celebrate the victory.

Despite the violations, the Fighting Irish and its fans had plenty of reasons to celebrate albeit they could've done it in a safer way. The Brian Kelly-led team was able to snap a longstanding 36-game winning streak of Clemson dating back to 2017. The victory was also the Fighting Irish's first triumph over a No.1 ranked team in 27 years.

Notre Dame's senior quarterback in Ian Book led the way with 310 passing yards on a 22/39 passing clip with a passing touchdown. Sophomore running back Kyren Williams also had a big night after recording 140 yards on 23 carries and three scoring drives for the Fighting Irish.

Clemson's QB1 in Trevor Lawrence was ruled out for the second-straight game due to his previous positive COVID-19 case. Rookie gunslinger D.J. Uiagalelei eased in as a starter and concluded with a monster game after posting 439 passing yards on 29-of-44 passes completed along with two touchdowns.

The Fighting Irish improved to an unblemished 7-0 record to nab the top spot in the ACC while the Tigers follow behind with a 7-1 tally. Notre Dame will aim to extend their win streak as they face the Boston College Eagles next on November 13. As for Kyle Kuzma, he wasn't the only Lakers player confused by the field storming. LeBron James also took to Twitter to express his thoughts.
