Duke small forward Cam Reddish has met with the Los Angeles Lakers at the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago, and the franchise apparently brought “everybody” to meet him.

The Lakers have the fourth overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, which is on June 20. Lakers star LeBron James is Reddish's mentor:

Reddish averaged 13.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game this season at Duke. He shot 35.6 percent from the floor, 33.3 percent from beyond the arc and 77.2 percent from the free-throw line.

Reddish was the third option on offense at Duke behind Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett, so his skills weren't on full display all the time. Talent evaluators around the league, though, know Reddish's game could translate better in the NBA.

The Lakers missed the playoffs this season, the first year of the James era. There is the possibility LA could trade the fourth pick, along with guard Lonzo Ball and forwards Kyle Kuzma and Brandon Ingram to the New Orleans Pelicans for star Anthony Davis.

After parting ways with Luke Walton after the season ended, the Lakers hired former Indiana Pacers and Orlando Magic head coach Frank Vogel last week. NBA Hall of Famer Jason Kidd will be Vogel's lead assistant.
