Los Angeles Lakers star and all-time great LeBron James took to Twitter to congratulate his good friend and Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry for breaking the all-time 3-point record.

Curry and LeBron have some history against each other as they have both played in the NBA Finals plenty of times. The Lakers and Warriors have not yet had a game of the same magnitude that LeBron had with the Cleveland Cavaliers against Curry and the Warriors. Perhaps that could happen this year because NBA fans definitely need to see the two match up once again.

LeBron and Curry have given us the greatest finals that we have arguably ever seen as they are always filled with crazy highlights and special moments. LeBron has been known to be good friends with Curry for the better part of their careers. They always give each other appreciation and love whether that be via social media or after the game in a postgame conference.

The next time that the two MVPs are going to face off is when the Warriors take on the Lakers on February 12. Both the Warriors and the Lakers have the potential to make it to the Western Conference Finals and it would be one of the craziest playoff series of all time if we get to watch the stars in action for a trip to the NBA finals.
