Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James showed his appreciation via Twitter to fellow NBA and WNBA stars for joining “Space Jam 2: A New Legacy.” James gets joined by teammate Anthony Davis, Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard, Golden State Warriors shooter Klay Thompson, and the Phoenix Mercury's Diana Taurasi in his movie.

After the first Space Jam trailer released on Saturday, fans were quick to spot the superstars who joined James.  Lillard was spotted to be a watch because of “Dame Time.” Davis turned back into a Pelican with an evident unibrow—which now makes sense as to why James called him “Big Bird” while playing Call of Duty

Meanwhile,  Taurasi is depicted as “White Mamba” as this was the nickname given to her by the late great Kobe Bryant. And lastly, Thompson was seen on fire in the trailer which could represent his shooting ability.

LeBron James’ movie is set to release on July 14 both in Cinemas and HBO Max. Aside from the superstars mentioned above, James will also be alongside Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Marvin the Martian, Tweety, Sylvester, Foghorn Leghorn, and Speedy Gonzales.

Based on the trailer, the story of Space Jam revolves around James having to save his son from Don Cheadle's character. The King looked like he pressured his son to play basketball but it turns out, his son (at least in Space Jam) had no intentions of doing so.

It will be interesting to see how this pans out for LeBron James and the long-anticipated movie that fans have been waiting for all these years.
