Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is thinking about Brooklyn Nets small forward Caris LeVert after the rising Nets star suffered a terrible injury Monday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Caris LeVert was going up for a block when he landed on his leg. It's unclear if LeVert's injury is an ankle or a leg ailment, but either way, it was bad and sad. He needed to be carried off on a stretcher.

LeBron James, knowing his impact is bigger than basketball, offered some words of encouragement to LeVert through Twitter.

Injuries are part of the game, but they still suck. Caris LeVert is only 24. He was off to the best start of his young NBA career. The Nets aren't going to compete for a playoff spot this season, but they were developing a nice rapport with one another and building the foundation of their franchise, with LeVert as a major cog.

This is a big setback for the Nets and LeVert.

However, knowing the type of competitor Caris LeVert is, he's going to attack his rehab and come back better than ever next season. It's something LeBron James and the rest of the stars in the NBA want to see. After all, the NBA is a fraternity. These guys are competing against each other every night, but at the end of the day, they want their peers to be happy and stay healthy.
