It has been a rocky season for the Los Angeles Lakers. So much so, the team continues to receive criticism from the fanbase and media. LeBron James got into an exchange with a reporter, then followed it up by clearing the air through social media. Even so, James' message still seemed a tad hostile towards the media.

LeBron James took to Twitter to clear his name from a recent report. James claims reporter Bill Oram wrote something that “wasn't truthful” so the Lakers star felt the need to express that through social media. He called out how the media works by saying “But I get it, SOURCES run this game.”

After calling out Bill Oram, LeBron James then tells Lakers fans to “let him be cause he ain't a bad guy.” It's a bit of a weird move to tag the reporter to call him out then tell his followers to not harass Oram. Sure, James is probably frustrated, as the Lakers have struggled throughout the season. However, it's a tad ironic to call someone out just to immediately tell the LA fans to leave him alone as well.

At the end of the day, the Lakers must find a way to win more games. The playoffs are quickly approaching and it's do-or-die time for this organization. They're in line to participate in the play-in game, which at least gives Los Angels a chance if they can't finish within the top six seeds of the Western Conference.

We'll see how it all plays out, but it's hard to imagine the Lakers go on a hot streak to make the postseason and dodge the play-in game altogether. If anyone can do it though, it's LeBron James. Make sure to catch their next game on Tuesday, as LA is set to take on Luka Doncic the Dallas Mavericks.
