It's been a rough season for the Los Angeles Lakers so far as they currently reside in ninth place in the Western Conference. Nothing seems to be working, but luckily for them, LA finds themselves just three games behind the eighth-placed Los Angeles Clippers. Russell Westbrook has received plenty of criticism this year, but he claims to not be bothered by the outside noise.

During a postgame interview, Westbrook is asked about the booing he has received from the Lakers fanbase. He provides an NSFW response, but ultimately, he claims none of it bothers him. That's likely the best mindset to have, as someone could get into their own head if they start listening to the boos.

“Nah. Take it home? For what? Sh*t. Take it home? I got three beautiful kids at my house. Why would I take it home? If they boo, they can take their ass home. I ain't worried about that. It doesn't bother me none. … I can only answer if I take them home: no. But as for our team, I don't think it's something we got to deal with. And kind of move forward.” – Lakers guard Russell Westbrook.

It's been an ugly season for the Lakers, but they have plenty of time to right the ship. If LA can get on a hot streak they'll be able to cover some ground and potentially make the playoffs. As of right now, Los Angeles would be participating in the play-in game. It's not an ideal situation, but this is a scenario this organization should prepare for.

Look for Russell Westbrook to possibly get back on his groove on Tuesday when the Lakers take on the fifth-place Dallas Mavericks. If LA hopes to get back on track, earning a victory on Tuesday will be a nice first step.
