Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James was accidentally listed as a rookie in the San Antonio Spurs' game notes ahead of Friday night's game at AT&T Center.

James is officially in his 16th year in the NBA, so it's safe to say that this was a slight mistake on the part of the person who put together the notes.

But that didn't stop the Lakers forward from taking to Instagram to share proof of the error, while also poking fun at the idea of making a run at NBA Rookie of the Year honors.

Listen, if LeBron James was listed as one of the candidates for the league's top rookie, he'd probably get my vote — and everyone else's.

Of course, it's also interesting to think about how things would have looked had James actually joined the Lakers when he first entered the league. Something tells me that team with LeBron James and Kobe Bryant would have been pretty good.

But James and company will now turn their attention to the court for a rematch with the Spurs after the two teams met earlier in the week.

James fueled the Lakers with 42 points in a 121-113 victory over the Spurs in Wednesday night's game at Staples Center.
