Los Angeles Lakers superstar forward LeBron James has become one of the most outspoken celebrities, let alone NBA players, in the world today. On Tuesday evening, this was highlighted in numerous ways, especially wanting the world to focus on the Georgia Senate race.

Not shy or ashamed to speak his mind as James has one of the biggest platforms on Planet Earth, the Lakers standout and NBA veteran has continually made his presence known in the political world over the years as well.

Most recently, “King James” arrived to his team's Tuesday evening showdown against the Memphis Grizzlies sporting some powerful attire while reminding those in the State of Georgia to get out and vote in the U.S. Senate runoff election.

Incumbent Republican Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue are running against Democrat challengers Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff, respectively, with Tuesday serving as an Election Day for Georgia's U.S. Senate runoff. The Georgia Senate race is incredibly important, and the Lakers superstar knows this.

These races will determine the majority for the United States Senate with the Democratic Party already leading the U.S. Houst of Representatives — in addition to Joe Biden currently serving as the President Elect.

It is also worth mentioning that Loeffler has a sporting connection — but not quite in the way one would think. She is notably an owner of the WNBA's Atlanta Dream with the team's players publicly supporting the aforementioned Reverend Warnock earlier in the week. However, this was not the first time that the WNBA, its players or the Dream specficially have spoken out in opposition of Loeffler.

LeBron James and the Lakers not only won the 2019-20 NBA Championship but have continued to use their voices to support basic human rights while protesting against racial injustice.
