Los Angeles Lakers four-time MVP winner LeBron James was one proud dad on Saturday as he witnessed his son, Bronny, come out with a huge performance against none other than LeBron's own alma matter, St. Vincent-St.Mary's High School.

Bronny's team, Sierra Canyon, came out on top against St. Vincent-St. Mary's, 59-56, and this was thanks in large part to Bronny's MVP-winning performance. After the game, LeBron Sr. expressed his delight in his first-born's outstanding play.

“It was a great day,” LeBron told Tania Ganguli of The Los Angeles Times, wearing a joyful expression. “Like I said, to be able to see my son play for the first time in high school ball against my former team, versus my mentor, father figure coach Dru, in front of all our family. … And then for him to make probably the biggest play of the game with the steal and the layup to take the lead … kind of surreal moment.”

This is definitely an endearing moment between father and son, and surely, one that both LeBron and Bronny will cherish for the rest of their lives. Winning the NBA title is undoubtedly one of the best feelings in the world, but for a dedicated father like LeBron, it's probably safe to say that nothing will beat watching your own child succeed in his craft.

It is no secret that LeBron dreams of being able to play with his son in the NBA, and if Bronny James continues on this current path he is embarking on, then this could definitely become a reality within the next few years.
