LeBron James is going home a happy man.

Following his final showdown with close friend Dwyane Wade, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar showed off a special souvenir from his once partner-in-crime back when they were both with the Miami Heat:

James and Wade traded their respective game-worn jerseys after their hard-fought game that came down to the wire. In fact, the two best buddies competed until the end of the final buzzer. Wade had the opportunity to extend what was their final game against each other for five more minutes, but James knew his buddy's moves all too well.

He took it upon himself to lock up Wade and forced a tough 3 that clanked off the front of the rim. Game over, Lakers win 108-105. It was the fitting ending to a special showdown between two extraordinary friends.

As soon as the clock hit triple-zeros, James and Wade hugged it out as if they didn't go at each other for 48 grueling minutes, especially in the closing moments. The two talked, laughed, and shared a unique moment together on the court before they went their separate ways, with the other's jersey on hand.

LeBron James, as usual, led Los Angeles with a near triple-double, notching 28 points, nine rebounds, and 12 assists as the Lakers improved to 17-10. Wade, on the other hand, finished with 15 points, five rebounds, and 10 assists in 32 minutes off the bench.

Dwyane Wade is on his “One Last Dance” tour before he finally hangs it up at the end of the season. It's only appropriate that these friendly rivals, who at one point were the best tandem in the league, showed up for one more classic showdown.

Thanks for the memories, LeBron and D-Wade.
