Right now, the biggest name on the trade market is without a doubt Kevin Durant after the former league MVP demanded a trade from the Brooklyn Nets. At this point, however, KD could move down in the pecking order if, for some reason, the Los Angeles Lakers decide to put LeBron James on the trade block.

This sounds highly improbable, right? Well, Lakers icon Robert Horry does not seem to think so. The seven-time NBA champ recently spoke on his podcast, the Big Shot Bob Pod, about this exact possibility. According to Horry, there are just a couple of guys in the league that have untouchable status with their respective teams in terms of a potential trade — and LeBron is not one of them:

“I think there’s only probably one dude in the league right now — or two dudes — I’d say two dudes that aren’t on the trading block,” Horry said (h/t Jonathan Sherman of Lakeras Daily). “That’s Luka and Steph. Everybody else can be traded. I don't care who you are.”

When asked by his co-hosts if he feels that the Lakers should entertain the possibility of trading away LeBron James, Horry had an affirmative response:

“Hell yeah,” Horry answered. “Let’s say I give you K.D. … If you Rob Pelinka and someone says, ‘Okay, I’ll give you K.D. for LeBron,’ you have to do that trade.”

To be fair, Robert Horry isn't the first person to bring up a potential LeBron-Durant trade between the Lakers and the Nets. This sensational trade scenario has all of a sudden come up as an actual conversation among NBA analysts and fans alike. Could it actually happen, though? Big Shot Bob clearly thinks that the Lakers should not hesitate if an offer is on the table.
