According to reporter Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet, Los Angeles Lakers rookie rising star point guard Lonzo Ball dealt with calf injury situation during Saturday night's loss to the Denver Nuggets.
Update: Lonzo’s left calf was sore before the game, and his right calf got tight late in the game.

The Lakers, who will host the high-scoring Houston Rockets (17-4) at Staples Center tonight, still expect Ball to be good enough health-wise to play on Sunday night.
“I should be out there,” Ball said after the game. “The left one was tightening up, so we put the sleeve on it. Throughout the game, then the right one started tightening up.”
Ball scored just nine points on 4-of-10 shooting in 33 minutes of action, although he was close to a double-double effort with nine rebounds, five assists, and two steals.
At first glance, the Nuggets’ 115-100 victory over the Lakers (8-14) at Pepsi Center looks like a game that was on the verge of a blowout. However, the game was close until Denver guards Jamal Murray and Will Barton took over the game down the stretch in the fourth quarter.
“I thought a lot of what happened to us tonight was self-inflicted,” Lakers head coach Luke Walton said. “The exciting thing about that is if it's self-inflicted we can be the ones that change it.”
In the final 5:41 of the fourth quarter, the Nuggets held the Lakers to just two points the rest of the way after rookie rising star forward Kyle Kuzma hit a three-pointer to extend the Los Angeles lead to 98-94.
