LeBron James and the Golden State Warriors have faced off in each of the last four postseasons in the NBA Finals. Now that James is on the Los Angeles Lakers, the King can't meet Stephen Curry & company in the Finals again, but they could face-off during the Western Conference playoffs.

Magic Johnson was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! talking about all things basketball and the addition of LeBron James, and he revealed that he isn't afraid of playing Golden State come playoff time. Johnson said he is a competitor, and as one, the Warriors don't keep him up at night.

Johnson also told Kimmel that he won't going to get fined like the last time he was on the show. On an earlier appearance on the program, Johnson talked about Paul George and was fined $500,000 by the league.

Johnson also told the story of his meeting with James at the beginning of free agency. The five-time champion Johnson knew the NBA would be watching him, so he pulled up to LeBron's house over an hour early and waited until 9:01 p.m. PT to buzz himself in.

“At 9 o’clock I inch to the gate, but I don’t ring the buzzer till 9:01,” Johnson told Kimmel. “Your half-million dollars ― I was thinking about that.”

Kimmel also asked Johnson if he talked to LaVar Ball about signing James, and Magic said he would have called Kimmel before doing so.
