The Kobe tributes are going to last all season. His tragic death has impacted the NBA world and no one is going to forget Bryant and his daughter Gigi's legacy.
Everyone needs to keep Vanessa and Kobe’s surviving daughters in their prayers right now. It’s impossible to understand what the Bryant family is going through.
Kobe finished his Lakers career with averages of 25.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game. The 6-foot-6 shooting guard was an 18-time All-Star, two-time scoring champion, 15-time All-NBA team member, two-time Finals MVP and five-time champion.
The Lakers retired Bryant’s No. 8 and 24 jerseys last year. He will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer as part of an incredible class when inductees are announced later this year.
What else can the Lakers do to honor Kobe? A statue could be in the works down the line. For now, the Lakers are trying their best to focus on the season. They have the best record in the West and a good shot of winning the title with LeBron James and Anthony Davis leading the way.
It's not a stretch at all to say LeBron and AD are going to dedicate the rest of the Lakers' season to Kobe and Gigi.
