Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O'Neal's son, Shareef O'Neal, recently posted a powerful picture on Instagram of him seeing Kobe Bryant's No. 8 jersey in the sky.

“I can’t believe I saw this today,” Shareef O'Neal, the 20-year-old son of the former Lakers center, wrote on Instagram. “It sent chills through my body .. it might be a stretch to some but I see it clear as day.”

This is actually pretty spectacular. That cloud really does look like a No. 8.

Kobe Bryant is certainly looking down on Shareef and Shaquille O'Neal. The Lakers icon may no longer be with us, but as you can see from this picture, his spirit and presence will always be among us. It's hard to believe Bryant left the world in 2020, but it has been nearly eight months now since a tragic day in history for sports and entertainment.

Next year, Bryant will be inducted into the Hall of Fame, along with contemporary rivals Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan. It's going to be interesting to see who presents Bryant. His wife Vanessa, along with Lakers teammate Shaq, Michael Jordan and Phil Jackson, could be the one to welcome Bryant into the Hall of Fame.

As everyone knows, Bryant is one of the greatest players in Lakers franchise history. He won five titles and two Finals MVPs with the Purple and Gold and got both of his jerseys (Nos. 8 and 24) retired by the team.

Shaq and Magic Johnson have statues outside the Staples Center, so the prevailing thought is that the Lakers will build a Bryant one soon.
