The Los Angeles Lakers have had a busy offseason. They brought in Russell Westbrook and saw Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Montrezl Harrell go to Washington as part of the deal. They watched Alex Caruso sign with the Chicago Bulls, and then brought in a ton of veterans–including Carmelo Anthony, who finally gets to play with LeBron James.

The Lakers also signed Talen Horton-Tucker to a big contract to keep him in the purple and gold for the next few seasons. Well, Horton-Tucker has been working, and surely LeBron and company are happy after seeing his highlight video surface over the weekend.

Yeah, Talen Horton-Tucker went to Chicago and was posting highlight after highlight after highlight. The youngster was a second-round pick but has absolutely blown past his draft spot and has become a huge rotational piece for the Lakers.

For a while, it felt as if the Lakers and Horton-Tucker weren't going to be able to find a deal. But, they were able to ink him to a three-year contract worth $32 million.

If he can continue to develop as he has over the past couple of seasons, the Lakers could walk away with one of the biggest steals in the NBA Draft over the past few years. So far, everyone has to be liking the work he has put in during the offseason after getting paid some big cash.
