With so much going down on Day 1 of this offseason's free agency window, Toronto Raptors superstar Kawhi Leonard remains to be the biggest name on the market whose future is yet to be decided. However, if we are to believe former two-time All-Star Caron Butler, it seems that Kawhi might be on his way to Hollywood. In a not-so-discreet Twitter post, Butler shared a Photoshopped image of Anthony Davis, LeBron James, and Leonard himself all clad in the purple and gold of the Los Angeles Lakers.

With the likes of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and D'Angelo Russell all making a splash on the opening day of free agency, the entire basketball community is now waiting on Kawhi's decision. The general consensus has always been that he will be signing a new deal with his current team, the Raptors, as he looks to build on what they've started up north.

However, the whispers of Leonard making the big move out West continues to get louder and louder. Aside from the Raptors, the Los Angeles Clippers and the New York Knicks are two other teams that are currently being linked to Kawhi, but at this point, it appears that the Lakers have somehow emerged as the frontrunners to land the services of one of the best player in the game today.

Should L.A. succeed in this ambitious plan, they would form arguably the most potent Big 3 this league has ever seen. Leonard should be making his decision within the next couple of days, and this is definitely a situation we will monitor very closely.
