NBA rookies still have a long way to go in the league. But this doesn’t mean that they can’t have a little bit of fun even if they’re not on the court.

In fact, Los Angeles Lakers rookies Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma are a good example of how rookie buddies bond with each other. The two Lakers players are known to have been sharing hilarious videos of themselves on social media all year long.

Yes, it’s all fun and games for them. But Kuzma can’t seem to go a little step further as he makes fun of Lonzo’s haircut now and then.

The latest chapter in their seemingly endless barrage of playfulness is when the 22-year-old forward took Ball’s round cap off and revealed that he was wearing a du-rag en route to Dallas. Ball defends himself saying that he feels like there are “waves coming in” that’s why he decided to wear a du-rag.

However, Kuzma insists otherwise.

After the Mavs game, the Lakers will have two more road games next week. The first one will be in Memphis, while the second will be against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

LaVar Ball recently commented saying that nobody wants to play for Lakers head coach Luke Walton because he’s too young and inexperienced. Despite that, the Lakers have won their last three straight games.

What’s even more surprising is that they’ve defeated the San Antonio Spurs. Ball has been averaging 10.2 points, 7.1 assists, and 7.1 rebounds per game, while Kuzma is averaging 16.7 and 6.3 rebounds per night.
